Scintillator material contg. gadolinium oxide, sulphur and praseodymium - used in radiation detectors in X=ray tomographic appts. or positron cameras
摘要
Scintillator material contains Gd2O2S:Pr to emit light on irradiation. The material also contains Gd2O3 having an X-ray intensity ratio of not less than 0.5 calculated as follows: I-Gd2O3/I-Gd2O2S x 100 I-Gd2O3 = the X-ray intensity for the plane (222) of Gd2O3; and I-Gd2O2/S = the X-ray intensity for the plane (101) of Gd2O2S both measured by X-ray radiation using Cu as target and 40 KV. Pref. I-Gd2O3/I-Gd2O2S x 100 is not less than 1.0. USE/ADVANTAGE - The material can be used in radiation detectors used in X-ray tomographic appts. or position cameras.
