The connecting member is used for joining tent poles. It has a leaf spring (5) which is connected by rivets (8) to the inner wall of the pipe insert. The leaf spring is curved to match the pipe curvature at the connection area (9) and also cranked outwards. The tent poles can be made of light metal or plastics and the snap connector (4) carried on the leaf spring can have all its abutting edges rounded. USE/ADVANTAGE - The durable connecting member is designed for use with tents for aid organisations.
