The items for stacking onto the pallet are collected by a conveyor feed (6) and pushed laterally onto a transfer platform (16) by a bar (7). The transfer platform moves inside a horizontal frame (15), which moves vertically inside the upright frame (1) to the required height on the pallet, after which the platform moves over the pallet and the items are slid off. The transfer process is controlled by a processor and/or a control panel. The vertical movement of the platform/frame is via a chain drive. The chain moves constantly and the frame is coupled to it by selective grips. The same principle is used to drive the horizontal movement of the platform and the slider action. USE/ADVANTAGE - Stacking of items onto pallets. Simple transfer equipment/process, simple control process, programmable for different item sizes.
