The system contains two container weighing devices (1,2) alternately filled and emptied under the control of an electronic measurement and control unit. One fan (4) operates only as a suction device for filling the weighing devices. A second fan (3) operates only as a blowing device for emptying the weighing devices. Transport air for filling and emptying the devices is supplied via a 4-way arrangement (5) with a rotary plate (6) which can be turned through 90 deg.. The plate is opened by a pulse triggered by a switch and is self-closing after the container is emptied. USE/ADVANTAGE - For material which can be carried by air, e.g. bedding material, down or fibres. Only one fan is needed for emptying and one for filling and material does not pass through fan during emptying.
