The electrical connection of the indicator is provided via a ribbon (7) which runs in the region of the rotary joint (1-6). The joint has at least one pivot pin (1), which lies before the front side outer edge of the first side wall (14) of the recorder chassis. The ribbon cable (7) is led along the first side wall connected with the rotary joint, running outside across the joint to a reception slit (9d) in the display housing (9) of the indicator. A stowage space is provided, in which the excess length of the ribbon cable (7) resulting from the swivelling in open position can be stowed. ADVANTAGE - Kinking of electric ribbon cable due to swivelling is prevented.
