METHOD FOR PREPARATION OF MONOCLONAL ANTIBODY OF GLYCOPROTEIN HORMONE

A new double specific antibody has specificities against 2 subunits of human gonadotrophic hormone. The double specific antibody is prepared by cell fusion of rat lymphocyte immunized with the human gonadotrophic hormone and rat tumor cell (P3X63-AG8, 653 ATCC CRL 1580). Two cell lines (R111, B91) producing antibodies, which have specificities against alpha subunit and beta subunit of gonadotrophic hormone respectively, is selected from the clones obtained by cell fusion. The bispecific antibody is prepared with the two antibodies produced by the two cell lines.
