The aim is to open up further possibilities of use for a radio clock (1) with a radio receiver (2) in the interests of more cost-effective production of standardised components. For this purpose, the radio clock (1) is fitted in addition to its time display element (9) with a coincidence circuit (19) for driving a signal transmitter (23). This drive possibility remains blocked, however, as long as no protected time information (5) has yet been decoded and the actual time display is, as the case may be, appropriately corrected, in order during reception indication operation and directional operation of the time display element to suppress the fault signal data which are disturbing and worsen the power balance, in particular of a battery-driven radio clock (1). ……
