The burner (7) has a conically formed guide device (33) which widens in the direction of the combustion chamber (5) and accommodates the flame of the burner and conducts it into the combustion chamber. The central axis (3) of the guide device (33) coincides with that of the burner (7) and-or the combustion chamber (5). The opening angle of the guide device is approximately 15 deg. The guide device penetrates the limiting wall (25) of the combustion chamber (5) facing the burner, and thus extends into the combustion chamber. USE/ADVANTAGE - A used air combustion device in which there is an equal temp. distribution inside the combustion chamber and a high degree of effect with decomposition of the substances contaminating the used air.
