The swivel fitment for furniture with movable parts (19), especially beds of loungers, consists of a bottom pair of rocking levers (1) linked to a fixed (2) and movable (19) furniture part. The top pair of levers (3) has a torsionless connection (6) between the links (4,5). Between the links is a downward pointing lever part (7) on which is mounted by means of links (9,10) a mechanical or electrical linear drive (8). The top pair of levers is supported on a downward pointing lever (11), and is rigidly supported on a torsionless connection (12) between the bottom pair of levers. When the linear drive is extended, a momentum (20) on the axle (4) is simultaneously produced on the bottom (1) and top (3) pair of levers. USE/ADVANTAGE - Furniture such as slatted beds can be adjusted vertically and horizontally by a centrally driven linear drive.
