The window has reflectors in the form of slats (13,14,15,16) fitted between the two panes (11,12). These slats are positioned and the curvature of the reflecting surfaces is so arranged that sunlight falling on the reflecting surfaces is reflected through the spaces between the slats into the room at a different angle from the original angle of the sun's rays. When the sun is low so that the angle of its rays is nearly horizontal, the rays may be reflected upwards or downwards.
