<p>An operating mechanism of a circuit breaker with phase and neutral includes a bimetallic thermal trip (19) cooperating with an actuation slide (80) extending in the transverse middle plane of symmetry of the contact holders, neutral (18) and phase (20). The slide (80) is clipped to a lug (84) of a trip lever (32), and is formed by a metal part with a thin plane surface, comprising a hook (86) with an internal edge which comes into contact with the bimetallic trip (19).
