The invention relates to a method for detecting mixtures of pulses received by an SSR. The SSR includes a monopulse antenna making it impossible to obtain a power pulse signal LOG SIGMA I(t) and a distance measurement pulse signal DELTA / SIGMA (t), which are synchronous, from the pulses received. The method according to the invention consists in detecting both the wave variations superposed with the power signal and the wave variations superposed with the distance measurement signal, the presence of at least two mixed pulses (5, 6) being detected by the presence of wave variations on at least one of the two signals.
