A reflector (41, 42) and at least one rod-shaped lamp (3) embraced therein are provided in a housing (1) which is open in the direction of a light opening plane. Arranged below the lamp are screening elements (61, 62) for limiting glow which extend in the manner of a mirror image relative to the longitudinal sectioning plane of the light fixture and parallel to its longitudinal axis. Said elements are aligned with their principle dimensions essentially parallel to the longitudinal sectioning plane and thus perpendicular to the light opening plane. They cover a critical region (5) which is determined, on the one hand, by a tangential beam (s1) laid against the lamp at a prescribed, still permissible cut-off angle ( beta ) relative to the horizontal and, on the other hand, by a limiting beam (s3) which is parallel to said tangential beam and intersects the lateral boundary of the light exit opening. <IMAGE> |
