An inkjet printhead includes a nozzle member (16) formed of a polymer material that has been laser-ablated to form inkjet orifices (17), ink channels (80), and vaporization chambers (72) in the unitary nozzle member. The nozzle member is mounted onto a substrate (28) containing heating elements (70) associated with each orifice. Preferably, the orifices, ink channels, and vaporization chambers are formed using an Excimer laser. |
