The lid 18' comprises a lid main body 20' made of a synthetic resin, a reinforcing plate 22' disposed at the back of the lid main body and an attaching member 26A inserted through an opening formed in the reinforcing plate for attaching the lid to a container 12. The attaching member comprises a head 32' engaged along the edge of the opening 28 of the reinforcing plate and an attaching member main body 30' contiguous with the head, passing through the opening and extending in the rearward direction from the lid. A soft fin 42 in close contact about the periphery of the opening of the reinforcing plate is disposed circumferentially to the head. This construction ensures that moulding material for the body 20' does not flow out through the opening 28 during the moulding process used to manufacture the lid. <IMAGE> |
