摘要

Pyridinium derivatives of the present invention which are represented by the following formulae (I) or (II) wherein R and R' which may be same or different are alkyl groups optionally substituted by an amino group, a protected amino group and/or a carboxyl group, are suitable for conducting diagnosis of diabetes, diabetic complications, aging, diseases accompanied by same by using these compounds as an indicator. Moreover, it is possible to use the compounds of the invention for the preparation of an antibody being of similar diagnostic use.
