<p>The invention relates to a motor-vehicle door lock having a lock carrier (1), a pivotable lock latch (2), a detent pawl (3) blocking the lock latch (2) in the closing position, a transmission lever (8) actuating the detent pawl (3) by means of a force-transmission surface (7), and a securing lever (9), the transmission lever (8) and the securing lever (9) being actuable by means of a Bowden pull (10) (tension/compression transmission cable), and the transmission lever (8) executing an idle travel in the securing position. This lock, whilst preserving the functions allotted to the Bowden pull, is more space-saving, in that the outer sheath (12) of the Bowden pull (10) is fixed to the lock carrier (1) and the core (13) of the Bowden pull (10) can be subjected to tension and compression by the transmission lever (8), the transmission lever (8) can be adjusted by means of the core (13) of the Bowden pull (10) into three positions, namely the securing position, the desecuring position, and the opening position, and the securing lever (9) is not connected to the Bowden pull (10), but a coupling spring (14) acting in both directions is connected to the transmission lever (8) and can thus be taken up by the transmission lever (8). <IMAGE></p> |
