At least one of the steered wheels (11a,11b) has a non-constant relationship between the steering and wheel turning circles. These wheels are pref. steered from a common drive which can be operated from signals of an operating unit. This drive can be a steering motor with uniform reduction gearing. One of the steered wheels can be directly coupled to the drive while the other is coupled via an uneven reduction curved groove drive. A regular reduction drive (24a,24b) can follow the uneven drive having a reduction ratio of 3:1. ADVANTAGE - Large steering swing. Economical mfr. and servicing with high operational reliability. |
