<p>The invention relates to a mobile device for holding profiles 32 at a given distance from a substrate S, which device is made up of a support element 1, a connection element 31 and a spacer element 13 and is characterised in that it comprises means which are intended to ensure, after mounting, a translational movement parallel to the plane of the substrate S, and also, if appropriate, a rotational movement, about an axis perpendicular to the plane of the substrate S, of at least one of support element 1, spacer element 13 and connection element 31. The support element 1 is fixed to the substrate S directly or by way of a profile 5. It can be rigidly joined to the spacer element 13 or can be provided with means allowing it to hold the spacer element 13 while at the same time allowing it a rotation about itself and also, if appropriate, a translation parallel to the plane of the substrate S. The spacer element 13 is adapted to be connected to the support element 1 and to receive the connection element 31 while allowing it to adjust its position in a direction substantially perpendicular to the plane of the substrate S.
