PURPOSE:To prevent the curl of the title sheet due to heat at the time of printing by providing a surface layer composed of a biaxially stretched film containing a thermoplastic resin and inorg. pigment and having a void structure and a back layer having a specific structure on a sheet like support. CONSTITUTION:An image receiving sheet 1 is produced by laminating an image receiving layer 5 on the surface layer 3 composed of a biaxially stretched film of a sheet like support 2 consisting of the surface layer 3 and the back layer 4 formed by laminating uniaxially stretched film layers 8 to both surfaces of a base material layer 7 composed of a biaxially stretched film. A void structure is formed to the stretched film used in the surface layer 3 and back layer 4 of the sheet like support by forming a molten mixture of a thermoplastic resin and inorg. pigment into a film by a melting extruder and uniaxially or biaxially stretching the film. As the thermoplastic resin, polyolefin such as polypropylene or polyethylene terephthalate is pref. As the inorg. pigment, calcium carbonate, clay, diatomaceous soil or silica can be designated. |
