PURPOSE:To provide a refractory effective for preventing effectively and stably nozzle clogging caused by sticking of Al2O3, in a dip nozzle for continuous casting, for instance. CONSTITUTION:The refractory contains 60-80wt.% particles composed of 5-35wt.% CaO and 65-95wt.% ZrO2, 2-30wt.% one or >=2 kinds of constituents or compds. of CaO-SiO2 series material, and 10-50wt.% in total of carbon material and BN, and raw materials other than carbon material and BN are used as they are or after being mixed and heat treated beforehand. |
