PURPOSE:To obtain a cleaner capable of rapidly removing the foreign matter, waste refuse or ink bonded to the surface of a nozzle and preventing the re- adhesion of the removed waste refuse or the like to the surface of the nozzle. CONSTITUTION:In an ink jet recording apparatus having an ink jet recording head 2 having nozzles forming ink particles and the blade 8 protruding to the moving route of the ink jet recording head 2 and cleaning the nozzle surface 3 of the ink jet recording head 2, the wiping surface of the blade abutting on the nozzle surface at first at the time of cleaning and the wiping surface thereof finally abutting on the nozzle surface are made separate. |
