PURPOSE:To stably fix a physiologically active material at sufficient concentrations for general purposes using a simple method by fixing the physiologically active material to both ends of a physiologically active material fixing carrier via a hydrophilic spacer having p-toluenesulfonic ester. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a water-insoluble solid containing a nucleophilic substituent in molecules is acted upon by a hydrophilic spacer whose both ends are p-toluenesulfonate, and the hydrophilic spacer is fixed by the reaction of the p-toluenesulfonate at one end of the hydrophilic spacer with the nucleophilic substituent, and the p-toluenesulfonate at the other end of the hydrophilic spacer is similarly reacted with a nucleophilic substituent contained in a physiologically active material so as to fix the spacer. The hydrophilic spacer is a compound having a structure represented by formula I. In formula I, Ts is p-CH3(C6H3)SO2-, n is an integer of 0 to 10, m is an integer of 5 to 300, l is 1 or 2, and R<1> and R<2> are hydrogen atom or methyl group. |
