PURPOSE:To protect a rectifier when high frequency rectangular wave voltage is applied to a rectifier circuit and reduce the noise thereof by connecting a saturable reactor wound with winding on an iron core having an angular saturable property in series with the rectifier. CONSTITUTION:High frequency rectangular wave input voltage is converted to a direct current through a switching regulator consisting of FETs8-11 and a transformer 2 and rectifiers 1, 3 connected to the secondary winding terminals 12, 13 of the transformer 2, and smoothed through a coil 16 and a capacitor 17. Saturable reactors 14, 15 wound with a winding on an iron core having an angular saturable property are connected in series with the rectifiers 1, 3. The reactors 14, 15 suppress the maximum value of the reverse current inverted from the secondary voltage E to low value and reduce the attenuation of the reverse current. |
