PURPOSE:To reduce the production cost of a molded object having a pattern by placing a pasty molding material containing a granular material on a lower mold and holding the same between the lower mold and an upper mold having grooves for holding the strength of the molded object and forming a pattern under pressure and heating before separating the upper mold. CONSTITUTION:Lattice like grooves 5 crossing each other longitudinally and laterally are formed to the inner surface of an upper mold 2 as ribs for holding the strength of a floor pan being a molded object. The grooves 5 have function forming a grain decorative pattern. A molding material 6 mixed with a granular material 7 forming the grain decorative pattern is placed on a lower mold 3 to be pressed and heated between the upper and lower molds 2, 3. Therefore, the granular material 7 is allowed to flow to densely gather to the grooves 5 and roughly and uniformly dispersed to the area other than the grooves 5 to be distributed densely and roughly. Therefore, the granular material 1 is dispersed densely at the parts of ribs 9 but roughly at the other area to form a pattern. A molded object is reinforced by the ribs and, by variously changing the positions of the ribs 9, various patterns can be formed and the molded object can be inexpensively produced. |
