<p>PURPOSE: To provide a scanning method and apparatus for a receiving medium, which can produce an image without anomaly due to noises in the produced image, without complicating the structure of the system by using a relatively cheap lead screw in either mode of halftone printing and continuous-tone printing. CONSTITUTION: A velocity command signal Vcom is synthesized with a signal from an analog noise source 41, the modulated command signal V'com is added to a signal from a velocity transducer 44 comprising a tachometer or an encoder and this added signal is supplied to a drive motor 46.</p> |
