<p>PURPOSE:To provide a sheet feeder which can remove a jammed sheet easily even when jamming occurs at a U-turn part by journaling one side of a guide member so as to rotate freely, and providing one side of intermediate rollers at the rotatable guide member to connect and disconnect the intermediate rollers to each other. CONSTITUTION:A user opens the side plate of an image forming device 18 according to a warning display to expose a sheet feeder, rotate upwards an upper body 1 in which a developer 6 is built, and hold it at a prescribed position, and rotates a U-turn guide member 22 counterclockwise with a lever, locking at a prescribed position. Upper intermediate rollers 21a which are installed at the U-turn guide member 22 are separated upward from the lower intermediate rollers 21b, taking sufficient distance. It is possible to release the holding of recording paper by disconnecting the upper intermediate rollers 21a upwards, thus removing the jammed recording paper easily with hands in the expanded space.</p> |
