摘要 PURPOSE:To restrain the sudden fluctuation of driving torque, when a first and a second speed-change mechanisms are simultaneously operated, by controlling the feed of pressure oil so that the rotating-speed change rates of the input shafts of both speed-change mechanisms attain their target rotating-speed change rates respectively. CONSTITUTION:In an automatic transmission with five forward gears and one reverse gear, when the jump speed change between the first to third speeds and the fourth/fifth speed is carried out, the connecting or disconnecting operation of the clutches 20, 34 and the brakes 31, 36 of a first speed-change mechanism and the fourth/fifth speed clutch 52 and the reverse brake 53 of a second- speed speed-change mechanism must be simultaneously carried out. In this case, the discharge timing of pressure oil for the clutches 20, 33, 34, 52 and the brakes 31, 36, 53, and the duty factors for solenoid changeover valves 111 to 116 for supplying pressure oil are controlled so that the rotating-speed change rate of the input shaft 16 of the first speed-change mechanism and that of the driven gear 44 can attain the predetermined target rotating-speed change rates of the first and second input shafts respectively. Thus, the torque change of the output shaft can be smoothed.
