摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the detection precision and simplify the structure of a detecting device at the same time, by electrically detecting the variation of the back pressure when fluid pressure is jetted from the nozzle of a detecting head either to the upper faces of a work or to lower surfaces of a work which is formed in an asymmetric form, and judging the direction of the work. CONSTITUTION:A flow passage 36 is formed inside a detecting head 10, and is allowed to communicate to a detecting nozzle 38 at the top edge of the detecting head 10, and branching from a pneumatic source (P) 18 for feeding a fluid pressure to the first and second resistance circuits 20 and 22 is performed, and the first resistance circuit 20 is connected with the flow passage of the detecting head 10. A reed switch 30 which is operated by the differential pressure between the first and second resistance circuits 20 and 22 is connected between both the circuits, and a peumatic bridge circuit is constituted, and the variation of the back pressure when a fluid pressure is jetted to the detected surface of a work W is detected by the switch 30, and the attitude of the work W is judged, and detection is enabled even in the case where the detected surface of the work has a fine structure, and the detection with high precision is enabled.
