<p>PURPOSE:To reduce granular irons incorporated in the a water granulation of a blast furnace slag without executing the pretreatment of pulverizing, etc., by executing electromagnetic separation after dewatering the water granulation of blast furnace slag. CONSTITUTION:Since the water granulation of the blast furnace slag is manufactured by rapidly cooling the blast furnace with cooling water, the water granulation becomes granular-state. The water granulation of blast furnace slag is dewatered and made to be <=15% moisture content and stored into hoppers 1A, 1B. The water granulation is conveyed with a belt conveyor 2 from the hoppers 1A, 1B and continuously supplied into an electromagnetic separator 4 through a vibrating screen 3 to remove the granular irons incorporated in the water granulation. By such a method, the granular irons incorporated at about 4% in the water granulation can be reduced to 3%.</p> |
