<p>PURPOSE:To provide an inexpensive fumigating warehouse of simple structure, causing virtually no operational failure even if so designed as to perform fumigation together with containers while housing fruits and vegetables, etc., in the warehouse. CONSTITUTION:The objective fumigating warehouse is made up of a warehouse of airtight design, a pipe to introduce a fumigating gas into the warehouse, plural agitating fans to uniformly disperse the fumigating gas thus introducible throughout the space of the warehouse, an air feed damper openable so as to take the outside air into the warehouse, an openable and switchable damper and an exhaust fan to exhaust gas in the warehouse, and blasting means situated at an opening of each container holding foods to be fumigated and at the space between each container ceiling and the foods to bring the fumigating gas in the warehouse to the depths in the container.</p> |
