PURPOSE:To obtain a stable temperature of chilled water by providing in-tank volume reducing means in a heat reservoir having a heat transfer tube for icemaking water in the reservoir and a melted ice water conveying tube for feeding melted ice water to a heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:A fluid bag of in-tank volume reducing means such as an air bag 15 is provided in a gap generated between a double slab 10 and a heat transfer tube 12 so that the gap between the slab 10 and the tube 12 can be regulated as required. That is, after the tube 12 is mounted in a heat reservoir 11, the bag 15 which can bury the gap is fixed to the stab 10 side. The gap is freely varied by a quantity of the air to be poured in the bag 15 thereby to bring water of the tube 12 into contact with the part of the tube 12 in the reservoir 1 as much as possible. Thus, ice can be efficiently melted, and a stable temperature of chilled water can be assured. |
