PURPOSE:To make a communication device for train control capable of performing transmission aboard a train of ATC information having a good noise-proof characteristic by conducting train detection by means of a track circuit in a spectrum spread communication method. CONSTITUTION:In a communication device for train control that spreads and processes a carrier wave with a specified PN code and supplies to the side (S) of the starting end of a rail (T) forming a track circuit, and receives it at the side (R) of the terminal end and demodulates and processes it to detect the PN code, and possesses means that detect the presence of a train (a) on the rail (T) with the change of a detected signal, the means are composed of a PN code selecting means that selects the kind of the PN code in response to a specified data for train control, a receiving means 20 aboard a train that receives signals from the rail through an antenna (A) provided on the train, an extracting means that demodulates and processes the received signal to extract the PN code, and a train control data extracting means that used the extracted signal. |
