<p>PURPOSE:To improve a seal property in an operating chamber and further to effectively cool operating fluid confined in the inside by filling a back surface of a chip seal with oil to apply a back pressure in an oil route of one system, and also supplying a sufficient amount of oil to the operating chamber in an intermediate pressure region. CONSTITUTION:A deep groove 80 of predetermined length, extended from a volute center side to the halfway part in a volute peripheral side and continued through a fitting groove 7 and a step difference 80a in the peripheral side, is provided in the fitting groove 7 of a chip seal 3 provided in the second scroll 2. An oil hole 9 of communicating with a supply oil passage of a drive shaft is opened to the groove bottom part in the volute center side of this deep groove 80, to also form a pair of communication ports 10, 10, displaced 180 deg. from each other, notched in a groove wall part in the volute peripheral side of the deep groove 80, and the volute peripheral side of the deep groove 80 communicates with a pair of chambers in an intermediate pressure region between low and high pressures in an operating chamber 4, to supply a necessary sufficient amount of oil to the operating chamber 4.</p> |
