PURPOSE:To provide the laser beam machine capable of accurately detecting the quantity of deviation in the position between the center of a nozzle hole and a laser beam axis. CONSTITUTION:Photoelectric detectors 20X and 20Y are arranged on a machining table 6 and an intercepting plate 19 to intercept a part of the photodetecting surface of these photoelectric detectors 20X and 20Y is provided. The quantity of deviation in the position between the center of the nozzle hole and the laser beam axis is detected from the photodetecting position of the photoelectric detectors 20X and 20Y when the machining table 6 is moved while light is irradiated from a light 17 which is a different light source from a laser beam oscillator 1 so as to cross an end of this intercepting plate 19 and the photodetecting position of the photoelectric detectors 20X and 20Y when the machining table 6 is moved while a laser beam is irradiated in the same way. |
