<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the probability of bottles falling down during line transfer including conveyer riding by considerably reducing the sliding resistance of the bottom face of each leg on a petaloid-shaped bottom of a bottle. CONSTITUTION:Each leg 5 of a petaloid-shaped bottom part 3 is provided on its bottom face 6 with a number of ribs 10 arranged in a nearly radial manner to form the contacting parts with the mounting surface of a bottle, so that the contacting area of a bottle with the contacting parts is reduced considerably. This reduces the sliding resistance of the legs to make the bottle hardly liable to fall down and the ribs 10 afford a piloting function to permit a smooth and safe conveyor transfer of the bottle clearing a stepped part S between the conveyors.</p> |
