PURPOSE:Not to impose an excess burden to a belt by controlling a speed change ratio control valve so as to make a speed change ratio to a fixed value when the number of revolution of a detected wheel is below a prescribed value and the speed change ratio is below a prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:When such situation is detected as that the number of revolution Ns of a secondary pulley is below a prescribed value Nso and a speed change ratio R is below a prescribed value Ro at a step S400, a flag EMRBRF by which it is shown at a step S402 that an emergency brake is stepped on is set. The numbers of revolution Np, Ns are held as NPH, NSH at a step S404 in order to memorize this speed change ratio. A solenoid 55 is turned off in order to fix the speed change ratio at a step S406. Thereby, even if a speed change control system changes the speed change ratio, it is disappeared that a belt is moved along the surface of a pulley. Therefore, an excess burden is not imposed onto a belt and the prevention of a durability drop and the generation of a noise can be restrained. |
