PURPOSE:To supply oxygen necessary for activating aerobic bacteria by suspending a partition wall demarcating an inflow port from the exhaust outflow port of an exhaust valve to the upper end wall of a biological treatment tank to form an air sump under the inflow port. CONSTITUTION:The partition wall 8 surrounding the inflow port 5A from a circulating passage 2 is suspended from the upper end wall 7 of a biological treatment tank 5 to demarcate the inflow port 5A from the exhaust outflow port 6A of an exhaust valve 6 to form an air sump A in the partition wall 8 under the inflow port 5A and the air of the air sump A is mixed with the inflow water from the circulating water passage 2 to be supplied to a bacteria carrier 9 and sufficient oxygen is supplied to the bacteria carrier 9 to always hold the biological treatment tank to an aerobic condition. |
