PURPOSE:To open or shut on a recognition whether an obstruction to the opening and the shutting is a cubical substance or a foil-like substance such as paper. CONSTITUTION:Images of a substance that is positioned in a place near an opening/shutting means 2 are inputted as images by an image inputting means 1 in both cases of being lighted to present shadows detectable by a sensor and of being unlighted, and detection of the substance is made thereby. A cubical substance recognition means 4 recognizes whether the substance is a cubical body or a foil-like substance, depending on existence of shadows of the substance presented by a lighting means 8. Then, an abnormality judging means 5 judges whether the recognized substance is harmful or not to the opening/ shutting means 2. When the abnormality is found by the judgement, operation of the opening/shutting means 2 is stopped. |
