PURPOSE:To obtain a medical cosmetic having excellently promoting action on growth of hair, high safety and low irritation to the skin. CONSTITUTION:The medicinal cosmetic contains 0.001-10wt.% extract of Hypericum erectum thumb. and carbon dioxide gas, having pH >=7, especially pH 4.5-6.5. The medical cosmetic is prepared by charging a pressure container with components except carbon dioxide gas and sealing a high-pressure carbon dioxide gas into the pressure container, adding dry ice pellets to a pressure container and sealing or charging the pressure container with a component except carbon dioxide gas contained in a carbonate such as sodium hydrogencarbonate and adding a pH adjuster to evolve carbon dioxide gas, namely sealing method. Carbon dioxide gas is partly dissolved in the medicinal cosmetic whole partly exists as gas in the container. The concentration of carbon dioxide gas contained is preferably >=60ppm and carbon dioxide gas is preferably injected in the container to make 1.2-8kg/cm<2> gauge-pressure in the container at 35 deg.C. |
