PURPOSE:To increase the linearity of the cut end of sheet-shaped member by providing a cutter receiver where the end part of the sheet-shaped member can be fixed and a moving means to move the receiver in the tangential direction in synchronization with the circumferential speed of a drum in a device to coil the sheet-shaped member around the drum. CONSTITUTION:A sheet 1 is carried by a conveyor 5, and stopped when the fore end part comes on the fore and rear anvils 8, 9, and sucked by vacuum pads 10, 11. Then, a cutter 6 moves in the transverse direction between both sucked parts of the sheet 1, and the fore end part of the sheet 1 is cut thereby. Then, the fore side anvil 8 is divided from the rear side anvil 9 by a dividing cylinder 16, and the respective anvils 8, 9 advance integrally by the rotation of a screw shaft 14 by a motor 15 in this divided condition. When the rear side anvil 9 is positioned immediately below the drum 2, the rear side anvil 9 is elevated by an elevating cylinder 19, and the fore end 1a of the sheet is delivered to a vacuum pad 4 of the drum 2. The sheet 1 is coiled around the drum 2 by the successive rotation of the drum 2. |
