PURPOSE:To provide a detector for pot of a induction heating rice cooker which detects the presence of a pot accurately regardless of distortion of a power source voltage. CONSTITUTION:This apparatus is provided with a ZVP generation means 10 to generate a pulse detecting at least a zero volt of an AC power source, a level conversion means 9 which is connected to the output side of a rectifier circuit 2 or a filter 3 to convert the level of a voltage at a connection point thereof to a specified voltage, an underhold means 15 which holds a voltage when an output of the level conversion means 9 is the lowest, a delay means 14 which delays an output pulse of the ZVP generation means 10 by a fixed time and a judgment means 11 which receives an output of the delay means 14 to judge the presence of a pot 13 from an output voltage of the underhold means 15. Then, the minimum output voltage of the level conversion means 9 is held by the under hold means 15, thereby enabling the detection of the presence of the pot 13 accurately regardless of distortion of the power source. |
