PURPOSE:To measure and elapsed time after a foregoing ejection recovery treatment at a comparatively low cost and to prevent defective measurement due to the drop of a power supply voltage. CONSTITUTION:The voltage level VSC of a condenser 106 becomes lower with a lapse of time due to its discharge. A CPU 101 detects the value of the voltage level VSC through an A/D converter 107 to obtain the elapsed time after a foregoing ejection recovery treatment of a recording head 103, which is performed by means of an ink suction mechanism 104. |
