PURPOSE:To enhance the draining capacity of oil such as the operating oil of a friction element that is the object to be drained, and to prevent the dragging of a clutch due to poor oil drainage, when jump speed change is carried out. CONSTITUTION:In the three chambers 2A, S/R, 4A of a band brake B/B and in a high-clutch H/C, when the jump speed-change is carried out from the fourth speed.to the first speed in the operating condition thereof, the speed change is realized by draining the oil in all of them. The oil inside the respective chambers H/C, S/R, and 2A is discharged through the respective drain ports by changing over a shift B value 8. By temporarily operating an overrun clutch (OVR/C) control valve 9 at the time of 4-1 speed change, the oil inside the chamber 4A is discharged therefrom by utilizing the drain part of the valve 9. Since the draining is carried through two drain ports of the shift B valve 8 and the OVR/C control valve 9, the amount of drain can be increased. Drainage is carried out quickly, and the dragging is reduced so much. |
