ADHESIVE TAPE FOR PRODUCING PLASTIC LENS

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain an adhesive tape capable of sealing the sides of two molds in producing a plastic lens by a cast molding method. CONSTITUTION:The objective adhesive tape for producing a plastic lens is obtained by forming a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition containing an alkyl (meth)acrylate unit having 1-14C alkyl group as a chief component and <=30% fraction soluble in toluene (20 deg.C). This tape neither elutes the adhesive component into a lens raw material nor causes the adhesive component to remain on the mold surfaces.
