PURPOSE:To obtain a full-color image excellent in gradation properties by providing an ink receiving layer on cast coated paper having specific density and specific smoothness and using a solvent soluble resin and pigment with a specific particle size in the ink receiving layer. CONSTITUTION:In order to make a dot shape circular and uniform for the sake of especially developing the gradation properties of a halftone part, it is necessary to reconcile the smoothness and cushioning properties of the ink receiving surface of image receiving paper. Then, cast coated paper with density of 0.8-1.0g/cm<3> and smoothness of 1000sec or more is used as a coated base material and an ink receiving layer based on a solvent-soluble resin is provided. Pigment with a mean particle size of 2.0mum or less is added to the ink receiving layer in order to prevent blocking. |
