<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the time required to set the paper sheet loaded on a bin to a paper sheet treatment device. CONSTITUTION:A sorter is provided with a bin 16 where a stopper is provided at the rear end part, a moving means to move this bin 16 in the approaching/ separating direction to/from a paper sheet treatment means, a pressing means 81 provided on the upper part of the position other than the rear end part of the bin 16 in a vertically movable manner, and a driving means 33 which brings this pressing means 81 into pressing contact with the bin 16. The rear end part of the bin is opened by rotating the stopper, and the paper sheet treatment is applied to the exposed part of the paper sheet exposed from the rear end of the bin. This pressing means 81 is brought into pressing contact with the bin 16 before the rear end part of the bin 16 is opened.</p> |
