CONSTITUTION:A signal issued from the first encoder 7 to generate a pulse with the movement of a riding cage 1 is inputted into the positional control section of a control device 9 as position informations. A signal issued from the second encoder 8 directly coupled with a motor 6 is inputted into a speed control section as speed informations. In the case of the speed control of an elevator, at the time of acceleration, an acceleration command shown by time function is generated, and at the time of deceleration, a deceleration command suited to a distance to a target floor is generated on the position informations of the encoder 7 in accordance with the command of the position control section 11. In addition, the speed commands and the speed signal issued from the encoder 8 are mutually compared in the speed control section, and the motor 6 is vector-controlled on deviating output determined in the above section through an inverter.
