PURPOSE:To ameliorate significantly image deterioration such as white streak or image irregularity caused by the uneven rotating speed of an image carrier. CONSTITUTION:If the rotary drive of a photosensitive drum 111 is started to reach a specified rotating speed, a rotary encoder 3 and a photodetector 4 detect the rotating speed status of the drum 111 and a rotating speed detection circuit 5 controls variably the photo-output of a light beam emitted by a laser 151 based on the detected rotating speed. |
