PURPOSE:To reuse a recording head part, in an ink jet recording apparatus wherein a recording head and an ink tank are integrated, by protecting the nozzles of the recording head part when the recording head part is temporarily detached from the recording apparatus main body. CONSTITUTION:An ink jet recording apparatus has a recording head part 1 wherein a recording head and an ink tank are integrally formed and ink is injected from the recording head of the recording head part 1 to apply recording to a recording medium. In this apparatus, a protective means 2 protecting the recording head of the recording head part 1 when the recording head part 1 is detached from the recording apparatus body is provided. |
